NIADA Welcomes Deirdre Canavan as New Vice Chair
NIADA is delighted to welcome Deirdre Canavan as its new Vice Chair. Deirdre is Deputy Director of Services and Development at Depaul Ireland, a leading organisation working to end homelessness and support people experiencing social exclusion.
With extensive experience in service development, leadership and partnership working, Deirdre brings valuable knowledge and expertise to the NIADA Board. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving outcomes for individuals and communities affected by substance use, homelessness and social exclusion.
As Vice Chair, Deirdre will support NIADA’s strategic direction and help strengthen the organisation’s work across Northern Ireland. Her experience across the voluntary and community sector will be a significant asset as NIADA continues to advocate for effective policies, services and support for people affected by substance use.
